I’m sorry I’ve been away for a while. I’ve been focusing on classes and lucky for me, this is my last week! :D Hopefully I’ll pass the exam on thursday, I’m extremely happy about taking this class, because it will allow me to find a better job :( I just hope I do well considering a lot of math is involved.

anyways, in the time frame that I’ve been away from this blog, I had my one year anniversary with my boyfriend ♥ which was lovely. We went to the Chicago, Autoshow downtown and then to Chinatown for the Lunar New Year celebration. It was so much fun! :D I have pictures but they are in my facebook but its private :X I don’t think you guys would find them very interesting anyway. lol

I also ordered my second package from SaSa, but because of the new year celebrations, it was delayed an extra two weeks. :S thankfully, it safely arrived. Just some nail art stuff which I haven’t used yet. T.T the packaging is so pretty~

I’m not sure how to use the glitters, I need to find some tutorials on that. but the kits are SO CUTE. They are definately made for one set of nails so I need to be careful of how I use them. I also don;’t know if I need to use them with acrylic nails. I don’t have equipment for that (or time) but I’ll figure something out.

since I’m still on the topic of nail art, I discovered how to paint flowers the other day.

They aren’t perfect and some of them are unfinished or just plain random (the gradients are just there to make the others stand out lol) the FLOWER DESIGN is what I’ve been working on. These are the best ones I could come up with using a plastic base nail. I haven’t tried them on my own nails because I need to buy a dotting pen to properly create the petals. Dabbing is just too hard!

so yes, those are my recent nail art adventures lol.

Today, after I went to pay my taxes I stopped by Payless shoes to see what was new. I actually had to go to a second location because I found a pair of red flats that I adore and the first location didn’t have my size!

They are not really that wide-looking. O_o the material just looks warped but they are so comfortable and worth the trip!

I also found this really nice pair of Ivory wedges. I simply love them and can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can show them off!

(sorry for the poor quality pic!)

Yay for impromptu shoe shopping :D I can’t wait for spring!

I’m out of things to talk about today, I hope everyone is doing well :D

I have to present a report on diabetes type 2 tomorrow! *goes off to study*

I know I just started blogging here again but unfortunately I will not be able to blog as frequently as I had planned. My PC caught a super virus called Vundo and I cannot remove it. If anything, I’m due for an upgrade and a better PC so it was just in time??? :( the only thing I’m upset about is that I lost all my files. All my music, pix, layouts, games, graphics–you name it, I lost it. *cries* I’m currently on my laptop but the battery isn’t very good and I can’t keep it on for long periods of time. *sigh* time to save money again :/

I got my Daiso charcoal mask in the mail the other day.

Lovely little tube isn’t it? I bought it from Cuteitup.com’s Ebay store (the dotcom site seems to be down at the moment, but they have a separate page for the mask here and a few listings on ebay too.) I paid shipping for mine but it got here in week Very fast shipping considering they are based in Singapore! :)

Unfortunately, because my camera produces all kinds of fail, I couldn’t take pictures of the spot test or the first trial. but I can tell you this black goop-y stuff wasn’t strong enough to take off my blackheads (on my nose at least). But it did leave my skin nice and smooth and clear afterward which is nice since my complexion has been looking really poor lately. I have a feeling that I need to layer it up a bit more and dry completely on those areas. The tube is small (3oz) so I can probably get about 6 masks out of it. I’ll be sure to post results of my next mask test in the future. If you want to try this out, I suggest buying with cuteitup for fast shipping and friendly service. ^^

So, if anyone who has been following my blog, might remember one of my first entries was about a cellphone I had. Well, my LGVX800 has passed on. I was so sick of verizon’s nickle and diming that i ported myself over to AT&T a few days ago. My new phone is spectacular and a HUGE upgrade, tech-wise.

My Pantech Impact P7000

Lol. Sorry about my reflection, this was the only way I could get decent lighting

I’ll admit, I was first attracted to this phone because of its sleek layout and colors. I never had a qwerty keyboard phone and I was really bummed that VZW doesn’t offer much variety for phones (I’m not a blackberry person) and they somehow find ways to charge for everything! (25mb of data usage for 10.00/mo. wtf?) Since AT&T uses sims I can still buy an unlocked phone incase this one busts and I can’t find one I like through AT&T. (Anyone remember the LG IceCream? *_*)

The picture quality on this phone is pretty good. Beat out my LG vx8600 by a longshot:

Lol. my tv room is so shaby. ^^

Anyways. I’m saving up money for a new computer, but I also have a few more things from SaSa that I plan on buying. In a few weeks time I guess. I start Pharm Tech school next week, so that has been my main priority!

So a few weeks ago, I placed an order for some beauty products from SaSa.com

Now I’m going to be honest, I don’t usually buy creams or makeups from China. I’m not a hater, I’m just really cautious because of the lead warnings that are always on TV. ^^; so before I decided to buy these products, I looked them up online and read some reviews just to see if they really are worth buying considering how cheap they are. Fortunately, I liked all of my purchase so I took some pictures just to share some of the products that I liked the most. ^^v warning its sorta image heavy~

January 20th, 2010Nail Arts part deux

I’m baaack. with my first wearable nailart project.

I bought the nails at CVS
for about 6 dollars. Kind of pricey but I have yet to see this kind of nail at walgreens (I’m a traiter, I know) The pink base is Techno Girl (Sephora by O.P.I) and the swirls are No Room for the Blues (O.P.I) and THIS IS IT from Sinful colors. I’m so proud of these, even though there are a few minor defects. Click for fullsize.

obligatory non-wearing pic

After :) (flash makes the blue too bright, its actually much darker!!!)

This took about 2hrs to do. I painted the base first, let them dry then I used a water technique (you can see this effect in my previous nailart post) It was kind of nerve wrecking because I have to tape the nail to a orange stick in order to dip it in the water and hold it in there until I clear the swirls. :X I should have documented it, maybe next time I’ll make a tutorial. :)

January 19th, 2010Gosh. 2010 already?

A bit late with the new years thing. Sorry ^^; I’ve been having a difficult time getting this site up my own standards (lol). I’m a terrible coder. I hate having to ask people for help, but, me + wordpress = major brain cell kill-age. In short, I fail miserably.

In light of this, I decided to go with a layout I found on the interwebs. Its nice, not too flashy, and I figure I can change the background when I get sick of it. (LOL)

as one of my new years resolutions, I want to continue to blog. I maybe blogged a mere 21 times in 2009. D: Damn. Hopefully this will change. Happy New Year everyone :)

Well. just the past few days really. Heres my current boom. :) click for bigger size

I don’t have every color (not since I started going with OPI and Sephora brand ^^;) and those skinny bottles are called Stripe Rite, acrylic nail paints. The brushes are long, thin and cut triangularly, yet I have such a difficult time drawing with them :X. Hench the really bad nail arts below:

I used some cheap nail tips that I found at work, so these can’t really be used. Also, please ignore the really bad designs, its just practice. ^^ The swirly nails are done with a water technique, which gave me a really bad headache. :X I seriously have to plan out the colors and nail sizes if I want to do that again.

yes, that is a Bumblebee Transformers nail up there. I was bored. lol

I don’t know how this happend. But its funny how things work out randomly I guess. ww

アメーピグダイスキ!

I’m conflicted. I haven’t blogged in a long time, every time I say I will comeback, something stops me from doing so. :(

so I changed a lot of things. LESS content, more simple blogs. I always had a fear of public blogging, which is the reason why my blogs sound so “rehearsed”. I’m really just scared of rejection (and stalkers, I have a few of them)

I also write like a 12 year old.

anyways, I don’t know when my next entry will be, but I want to do things with this blog rather than just let it rot.

I’m changing my style. Hopefully those of you who read my entries, will stick with me?
